In a recent Parliamentary speech, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong proposed several changes to Singapore's political system including the institutions of the Elected Presidency, Non-Constituency Members of Parliament Scheme (NCMP) and the Group Representation Constituency (GRC) method for election. In a "live" studio panel discussion, SMU Behavioural Sciences Institute Director Professor David Chan and Associate Professor of Law Eugene Tan examined these issues and their implications for Singapore.
