Increasing diversity in the House with more NCMPs

On the issue of whether increasing the number of Non-Constituency Member of Parliament seats will mean voters will feel a less need to vote for opposition candidates as a check and balance of the Government, SMU Behavioural Sciences Institute Director David Chan said voters' perceptions and assessments of the political parties and candidates will still be the critical factors that determine the election outcome.
