Best to 'run, hide, tell' during terror attack: Experts

Regarding Singapore security agencies' advice to the public to "run, hide, tell" when they encounter a terrorist incident, SMU Behavioural Sciences Institute Director Professor David Chan commented that the advice to run makes good sense as the "normal human response" of the majority in a terror attack is to flee. He explained that people can freeze in situations of extreme fear, which is why it is critical to be reminded of what to do.
