Paul Chang, Assistant Professor of Research Methodology at Yonsei University, presented a seminar titled "The Structure of Protest Cycles: A Network Analysis of South Korea's Democracy Movement". Paul discussed how social network methods may be used to identify the characteristics of protest events that contribute to the development of protest cycles. 

2 October 2012
Louis Tay, Research Fellow at BSI, presented a seminar titled “The Psychometric Principles of Affect: Are They Ideal?”. Louis discussed various measurement and data analysis issues for responses to self-report items on happiness and sadness including the implications for the construct validity of these responses.
