A healthy workplace requires employers' cooperation to fight diabetes

At a panel discussion at the Ministerial Conference on Diabetes, SMU Behavioural Sciences Institute Director Professor David Chan urged health ministers from various countries to focus on prevention and promotion when introducing anti-diabetes campaigns. He explained that using monetary incentives to encourage the cultivation of healthy habits is not a sustainable solution as the public might stop focusing on healthy living once incentives are removed.
