1. How do I register for the conference?
 
General
You can register at our online registration website or go to the registration menu on our conference website and click on the ‘REGISTER ONLINE NOW’ button to proceed with the online registration. Do note that attendance at the conference is strictly by registration only.

For Public Service Officers
If payment is to be made via the e-Invoice facility, you will have to register by filling out the e-Invoice form. Download the form by clicking on the ‘E-INVOICE’ button on the registration page at our conference website, and to submit the completed form to bsi [at] smu.edu.sg.


2. How much is the conference fee?

3. If I can only attend half a session, do I get a special rate?

The full conference fee is chargeable regardless how many sessions a participant attends.
 

4. How can I make payment via the online registration system?

For Credit Card Payments
Select PayPal as the payment method. No PayPal account is required for use of credit cards.
 
You will receive an email confirmation once your credit card payment is successful. A system generated receipt is available for download once you have successfully completed the online payment transaction via the online registration system.

For e-Invoice Facility (Public Service Officers Only)
Download the e-Invoice form by clicking on the ‘E-INVOICE’ button on the registration page at our conference website, fill out all the details required and email it to bsi [at] smu.edu.sg.
 

5. When does registration close?

The registration closing date is 28 February 2014.
 

6. Can I cancel my registration after confirmation?

Please note that there will be no refund should you choose to cancel your registration. However, we do allow for a substitute participant from the same organisation provided a written request is received by us through email at bsi [at] smu.edu.sg no later than 28 February 2014. 

 
7. If I drive to the conference venue, will car parking be complimentary?

Carparking charges will be borne by the individual drivers. Conference participants interested to purchase a daily rated parking ticket can do so during lunch at the conference registration booth. Alternatively, we would like to suggest the option of public transport given the central location of the conference venue.
 

8. I have allergies, can arrangements be made for my food?

All food items served at the Orchard Hotel are accompanied with food tags with descriptions, thus you will be able to avoid food that contains item(s) you are allergic to.
 

9. Does the venue serve food Halal certified by MUIS?

Orchard Hotel serves food that is certified Halal by MUIS.
